Andrew Rose
Born: 1977 Living in London. I studied cultural studies at Norwich School of Art and Design. I have made pictures for most of my life. My primary interest is portraiture, an attempt to capture the human face in a way that may reveal something of the nuances that form and hold the personality. Working on a static image necessitates stillness, a static whole, and this is the challenge I try to confront, making the static whole reverberate in some way.
